The protest outside Parliament here in New Zealand continues but in Ottawa, Canada, over the weekend police closed in on the final protesters after an intense 3 week protest that gridlocked key supply lines.
Police moved in with pepper spray, mounted police, police on the tops of buildings, and drones.
The Freedom Convoy inspired similar actions in France, Netherlands and in the so-named anti-mandate protests here.
So what can NZ learn from the Canadian experience?
