When we consider individual "personality" traits in our pets the quotes that spring to mind may well be along the lines of "If Dogs have owners; then Cats have staff", or perhaps the more nuanced, "If Dogs come when called; Cats take a message and get back to you". Wherever you may sit on the cat/dog personality paradigm, one thing that is abundantly clear is that dogs have very individually specific character traits.
