A 31-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Palmerston North man Hori Gage in August 2023.
Gage was killed in front of his children and partner, police said after his death.
He was in a car outside an address on Croyden Ave on 6 August when he was shot.
Detective Senior Sergeant David Thompson says the arrest followed an extensive investigation by Palmerston North police.
Several people were already before the court in relation to events around Gage's death.
"Police would like to thank the members of our community who did the right thing by Hori and his whānau, and provided us with information to assist our investigation."
The man has been remanded in custody.
