Royal visit Day 3: Duke and Duchess of Sussex visit Auckland
In the highlight of the royals' tour of Auckland on day three, hundreds swarmed the Viaduct to catch a glimpse of the couple on their public walkabout despite the murky weather.

The royals were very generous with their time during the walkabout in Auckland's Viaduct, taking the time to speak to many members of the public individually. Pool / NZME

The royals are joined by two school children to plant native trees. Prince Harry planted a puriri tree, which is indigenous to the northern part of the North Island. Meghan planted a kōwhai tree, which was chosen because it featured on her bridal veil. NZME / Pool
