A search for a missing Warkworth fisherman is entering its fourth day.
Nicholas Stubbs, 22, has not been heard from since he, and 37-year-old Stewart Atutahi, left Martin's Bay in the Kawau area for an evening fish on Tuesday night.
The body of Mr Atutahi was recovered by searchers on Wednesday afternoon.
Inspector Mark Fergus said the plan was to continue scouring the Kawau area for the next few days.
Items from the men's four-metre dinghy have been recovered, but the boat is yet to be located.
