Efforts are being made to bring the critically ill Chiefs assistant coach, Andrew Strawbridge, back to New Zealand.
Strawbridge, who is also a technical adviser to the Manu Samoa team, was admitted to hospital in Apia on Tuesday night with an eye infection
His condition continued to stabilise overnight, but he remains sedated.
Medical staff are focussing on further stabilising his condition so an air ambulance can fly him to New Zealand.

Strawbridge's wife, Laura, who has flown to Samoa to be with him, said she felt overwhelmed by the support and kindness shown by rugby supporters.
She said she was especially grateful to the All Blacks supporter who donated the right blood type for her husband.
