Rizalman was sentenced to nine months home detention and $5000 reparation in February after his intrusion into the home of a Wellington woman in May 2014.

In the case, the court heard that Rizalman entered the home of Tanya Billingsley in Brooklyn, Wellington, without his trousers and underpants on, after he had defecated outside her house.

Rizalman's lawyer at the time Donald Stevens said at sentencing that the case was unusual, as it did not involve any sexual touching or sexual assault, and the offending was out of character.

A police spokesperson says Rizalman was escorted to Kuala Lumpur by two police officers on Thursday night.
