The body of a kayaker who went missing yesterday has been found in Lake Rotorua.
Police were called about 4pm after the man's body was spotted by a member of the public near Hamurana.
A search involving Search and Rescue, Coastguard and the Harbour Master was launched last night and continued today.
Police were notifying the man's next of kin and the matter has been referred to the coroner.
