A search and rescue operation is underway near Fox Glacier for a hunter who has been missing for two days.

Police in Tasman are searching for Swedish national, Hans Christian Tommarck, who is overdue from a hunting trip.
They said they want to speak to anyone who has been in the isolated Karangarua area south of Fox Glacier in the past week.
The 27-year-old, also known as Christian, has not been seen since he left for a solo hunting trip on 12 May.
He is described as tall and would have been wearing prescription glasses.
