Police are investigating reports of gunshots in Upper Hutt.
Police were called to the area around 7.45am after they received calls about shots being fired from a car on Fergusson Drive.
There are no reported injuries and officers are still in the area.
Police believe there's no risk to the public, but said if any members of the public see something suspicious to contact them.
