Two British men who are facing fraud charges over an alleged roofing scam have made a brief appearance in the Auckland District Court.

The men, aged 30 and 27, were arrested last week - one near Marton in Rangitikei and the other in Whanganui.
The men appeared in court via audio-visual link and have been remanded in custody until tomorrow, because they don't yet have a lawyer.
The pair have interim name suppression.
