A 4.1 magnitude earthquake has shaken Hawke's Bay.
The quake described by GeoNet as moderate struck at 10.39am 15 km north-east of Napier.
It had a depth of 19km and was felt by more than 1500 people.
A Hawke's Bay Civil Defence spokesperson said they had no reports of damage from the earthquake.
