A baby attacked by a dog in Hamilton on Sunday night has died in hospital.

Emergency services were alerted to the incident in the suburb of Enderly about 7pm on Sunday.
Police said the baby was rushed to hospital in a serious condition, but died overnight.
The death has been referred to the Coroner.
The dog has been taken to a council pound.
