Police have released the name of a Hamilton woman who died at a property in the suburb of Nawton on Wednesday night.

She was Ngawai Kararaina Maria Himiona.
The 30-year-old died at the scene after being found by police seriously injured.
A 34-year-old man faces a charge of murder and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He appeared in the Hamilton District Court yesterday and has been remanded in custody to reappear in early February.
