Police have arrested a 23-year-old man and charged him with seven sexual assault-related charges, after an operation investigating sexual offending by Wellington musicians.

The man is due to appear in the Wellington District Court today.
The police operation, dubbed 'Emerald' came after a series of reports of incidents in Wellington.
"We will treat all calls with sensitivity and investigate thoroughly," police said.
They said they were unable to comment further.
Police are asking anyone who may have further information to call 105 and quote Operation Emerald.
