Police are appealing for information after an arrest this month in Christchurch in relation to multiple counts of sexual offending.

A man appeared at Christchurch District Court this morning, facing five charges of sexual violation.
Police said the alleged sexual offending involved four victims and the incidents allegedly took place between late 2018 and February this year.
Detective Senior Sergeant Nicola Reeves said any information provided would be treated with sensitivity.
The man, who has name suppression, has been remanded in custody and will reappear in May.
