A fire investigator will look into a suspicious house fire in Christchurch.

Fire and Emergency says crews were called to the Gayhurst Road address in Dallington at about midnight on Sunday.
The 100 square metre single-storey house was well-ablaze when they arrived.
Fire and Emergency said the fire was being treated as suspicious because the house was unoccupied.
The fire was put out just after 3am.
