One southbound lane of the north western motorway in Auckland was blocked after a person fell from Grafton Bridge.
Police said the person had moderate injuries and has been transported to hospital.
Emergency services are at the scene and there is heavy congestion. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
The Grafton Rd southbound on-ramp was blocked but has just re-opened.
