A man has been arrested and charged with obtaining cars and high-end electronics by fraudulent means on Facebook.
Police, who located the 33-year-old in west Auckland last night, say his raft of offending goes back to the end of last year and mainly took place through Facebook Marketplace.
They say victims across Auckland have been left thousands of dollars out of pocket.
The man faces seven charges of obtaining by deception and the police have not ruled out further charges.
