Crews from seven fire trucks have been dealing with a small blaze at the New Zealand International Convention Centre at SkyCity in central Auckland.
A Fire and Emergency spokesman said they were called there about 4.40pm.
They found a small fire in a welding set and it has now been contained.
The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
More than 150 firefighters fought a fire that took hold at the convention centre from 22 October 2019, after a cap sheet roll was exposed to a flame from a worker's gas torch.
Hundreds of people were evacuated from buildings nearby, and central city streets surrounding the site were closed for days. The fire was found to be accidental.
