A truck crash on State Highway 1, north of Auckland, has closed the road near the Dome Valley area since this morning.

NZTA said complex vehicle recovery had been taking place since the road closed about 10.37am.
Motorists are being advised to delay their journey or be prepared for diversions and delays.
A detour is available by using SH16 from Wellsford, left to West Coast Rd, to Woodcocks Rd, to return to SH1 in Warkworth. Northbound in reverse.
