Police have confirmed a person has been stabbed in an incident at Henderson's West-City Mall in Auckland.

In a statement, police said they attended an altercation at 3.40pm at the mall.
One person was stabbed and has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
An eye witness has told RNZ a group of young males were involved in an altercation.
The group was seen throwing chairs and fighting before security guards became involved, trying to calm things down.
The fighting stopped abruptly, and one youth was seen to be bleeding.
