A body has been found following a house fire in Cobden, just north of Greymouth on the West Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called to the fire on Peel Street at 5.35am, police said.
Police will be working with Fire and Emergency NZ to find out how the fire started and a scene examination will take place today.
Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call police.
Police would like to hear from anyone who was up and about in Peel Street or the surrounding areas, between 3.45am and 5.45am, or anyone who lives in the area and has information.
