A 48-year-old man has been charged with murder in relation to the death of another man in Hamilton earlier today.
Police said they were called to an address in Roy Street, Nawton about 11am after reports that a man had been seriously injured.
He was unable to be revived and died at the scene, police said.
A man has been charged with murder is due to appear in Hamilton District Court on Monday.
Police are not looking for anyone else in relation to the incident but would like to hear from any witnesses to the events who they have not yet spoken to.
