Five people have been charged over the robbery of an Auckland jewellery store.
The robbery occurred on Main Highway, Ellerslie, about 4.30pm on Monday.
Shortly afterwards police, with the use of the Eagle helicopter, arrested five people in Mt Wellington.
They have been charged with aggravated robbery, police said
A 35-year-old woman and two 18-year-old men were due to appear in Auckland District Court today.
A 16-year-old and 17-year-old were to appear in the Youth Court to face charges.
