One person is dead after a crash near Lake Coleridge in inland Canterbury, and three others were injured.
Police said one person died at the scene of the single-vehicle crash on Harper Road.
The accident was reported about 10.25pm on Friday night.
The Serious Crash Unit has been at the scene and an investigation is being carried out into what happened.
