Six young people have been arrested following the burglary of a corner grocery store in East Auckland early this morning.
Police were called at about 2am to Cockle Bay Four Square in Howick, which had been broken into.
Police said the robbers left in a vehicle which officers managed to stop using road spikes.
Six people were then arrested at a Preston Road address.
Police said five were expected to appear in the Manukau District Court this morning on charges related to the robbery, and one had been referred to Youth Aid.
