Police in Dunedin have arrested another person in relation to a drive-by shooting in the city last Friday.
On 10 March there were reports of shots being fired from one vehicle at another at about 4.40pm on Thomas Burns Street in the city centre.
A 53-year-old man was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, and was due to appear in Dunedin District Court on Friday.
In a statement, Detective Sergeant Hayden Smale said police conducted further searches on Thursday and as a result the vehicle and firearm believed to have been used in the incident were recovered.
A 25-year-old man appeared in the Dunedin District Court on Wednesday charged with attempted murder in relation to the incident and was remanded in custody to reappear on 4 April.
