Police said it all happened between 3.30pm and 6.30pm on Sunday.
In one robbery, offenders used an axe to smash the front doors of a supermarket in Wigram.
Police said officers were working with business owners to work out what had been stolen, and were reviewing CCTV footage.
One person has been arrested so far, police said.
