One person is in a critical condition following a crash between a van and a scooter in the Auckland suburb of Henderson.
Police said the crash occurred on Lincoln Road near the intersection of Universal Drive before 7am.
The scooter rider was taken to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition.

Police have advised of significant delays for commuters this morning, as part of the road was closed to allow the Serious Crash Unit to conduct an examination.
