Fire investigators are examining the scene of a blaze that damaged a row of townhouses in an Auckland suburb on Sunday night.
Five fire trucks were called to the fire in Favona at 8.40pm.
Crews extinguished the blaze by 1am on Monday.
Multiple homes were damaged but emergency services said all occupants were accounted for.
Police remained on site overnight to monitor the properties.
