A person has been airlifted to Auckland Hospital in a critical condition after an incident involving a horse in North Waikato.
Hato Hone St John said just before 4pm Sunday they responded to reports of a person who sustained an animal-related injury in Mangatangi.
Two St Johns vehicles attended as well as an Auckland Westpac Helicopter.
Fire Emergency and police were also at the scene.
