Fire crews have left Auckland Hospital after responding to reports of a possible gas leak.
Fire and Emergency said a member of the public reported smelling gas at the hospital in Grafton just before midday on Wednesday.
Ten fire trucks were sent to the hospital as a precaution, a spokesperson said.
But the crews were unable to find any leak and left the scene just after midday, they said.
