A homicide investigation has been launched after a man was found dead in a Hamilton driveway overnight.
Police said the man was found in a driveway of a house in Sundown Crescent in Melville at about 12.10am.
Initial enquiries have found that he was involved in an earlier incident at another property on Sundown Crescent.
A man linked to that address is assisting police with their enquiries.
Scene guards are in place at both addresses on Sundown Crescent and residents would see a continued police presence in the area today as scene examinations are carried out, said police.
Police wanted to hear from any residents in Sundown Crescent who may have CCTV footage which could assist their investigation.
