A person is injured after a house fire in rural Manawatū overnight.
Fire and Emergency said it sent three trucks and two water tankers to a house in Bainesse about 9.30pm.
A spokesperson said crews supplied their own water because the house was rural.
It was extinguished and one person was treated for burns by an ambulance.
Everybody else was accounted for and unharmed.
An investigator is expected to return to the scene on Friday morning.
