Gurjit Singh murder-accused trial date set

The trial of the man accused of murdering Dunedin man Gurjit Singh has been set down for three weeks in November next year.

The 27-year-old's body was found at his home with stab wounds in January.

A 33-year-old technician, identified only as Rajinder, appeared in the Dunedin High Court via audiovisual link on Tuesday morning. In February, he pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder.

Justice Cameron Mander proposed a start date of 17 November, 2024.

Rajinder remained remanded in custody.
