Police say a suspicious package left at a shopping centre in Auckland's Pukekohe does not present any risk to the public.
Earlier on Sunday they urged shoppers to stay away from The Zone on Manukau Road, after the item was discovered.
An assessment by the Explosive Odrnance Disposal team found nothing of concern.
The cordon has now been lifted.
"Police would like to thank the public and those working at the premises for complying with police requests while we responded to the matter," police said in a statement at 1pm.
