The man accused of murdering Dunedin resident Gurjit Singh has appeared in court ahead of an expected trial next November.

Singh's body was found at his home with multiple stab wounds in January. He was 27.

A technician, identified only as Rajinder, 33, pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder in February.

Justice Cameron Mander said he would remain remanded in custody ahead of a case review in September.

A woman, 29, was also facing a charge of perverting the course of justice. She was due back in court in August.
