Police investigating a violent robbery at an Auckland jewellery store last month have made further arrests - including a 16-year-old - bringing the total to five.

Detective Inspector Karen Bright said four search warrants were carried out across Mt Roskill, Mt Albert and Papatoetoe in relation to the robbery at the Kolmar Road jewellery store on 23 June.

Bright said the 16-year-old male was due to appear in the Manukau Youth Court charged with aggravated robbery.

A 36-year-old woman was charged with being an accessory after the fact to aggravated robbery, and receiving property. A 33-year-old man was arrested over breaches of bail.
