ThreeNews will broadcast live on Three and ThreeNow at 6pm from 6 July.
It will be a "familiar and fresh" take on the news bulletin, Stuff Digital managing director Nadia Tolich has said.
Sam Hayes will present the one-hour weekday bulletin, alongside Stuff's national newsroom and journalists including Jenna Lynch, Laura Tupou, Ollie Ritchie, Juliet Speedy, Heather Keats and Lisette Reymer.
Bulletins will be 30 minutes on weekends.
ThreeNews will have a new set and a new, vibrant look and feel, and include opportunities for audience engagement and participation.
