A body has been found in the search for a man missing in Wairarapa.
Masterton man Ben Fox was last seen at his home on Wednesday morning.
The 56-year-old's car was later found on Mangatere Valley Road, near the Mangatere Valley walking track.
Police said in a statement on Saturday afternoon that a body had been found during the search.
It was "believed to be the an reported missing in the area earlier in the week", the statement said.
"We would like to acknowledge the efforts of the volunteers and LandSAR who contributed [to] the search.
"Our thanks also go to a number of our community who gave their time to assist."
Police said they were continuing to provide support to Fox's family and the death had been referred to the coroner.
