Police are attending a reported homicide in the Auckland suburb of Blockhouse Bay.
Officers on the scene confirmed to RNZ that the incident was a homicide.

Armed police have been seen at the scene of the Blockhouse Bay Tennis Club, where they are apparently inspecting the building.
More than 20 police officers and eight police vehicles were seen, as well as police dogs and an ambulance. A drone was also being used.
Emergency services were called to Rathlin Street around 11.30am.
Police said in a statement that "more information will be issued proactively when in a position to do so."

Police were stationed in the carpark but have also been seen entering the tennis centre building, an RNZ reporter at the scene said.
Witnesses speaking to police could be heard giving them instructions on the layout of the building and where things were. Police were also photographing the ground.
A person on a local Facebook group claimed someone had been attacked in the area, but RNZ has not yet confirmed this.

Cordons were in place, including at the entrance to Blockhouse Bay Recreation Reserve, and the police helicopter was seen circling the area.
