The young man who allegedly reoffended after leaving the government's trial boot camp scheme has been charged with burglary and stealing cars.
Children's Minister Karen Chhour yesterday confirmed the alleged reoffending by one of the 10 young men selected for the scheme.
Asked about the case, police said a teen was arrested and remanded in custody in a youth facility.
He will face five charges - two of burglary and three of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle - at Hamilton Youth Court on 11 December.
The charges related to incidents on the morning of 9 November, the evening of 11 November, and the early hours on 12 November.
