A person was arrested after firing several shots in South Auckland on Monday afternoon.
Police said officers responded to a report of a driver discharging a firearm towards another person on Kirton Crescent in Manurewa after 2pm.
The Police Eagle Helicopter followed the vehicle until it came to a stop on Great South Road in Drury.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Police said they were still looking for the person who was shot at and the firearm.
