Internet outages have been reported across the Hastings District and the Queenstown-Lakes District.
Spark's website shows customers in the areas may be experiencing a loss of internet service.
It said the outages began on Monday afternoon and technicians are working on the problem.
Meanwhile, the Chorus website shows copper and fibre connection outages in Clive, Haumoana and Te Awanga affecting hundreds of people.
Chorus said more than 100 copper connection customers are affected in Arrowtown.
