Auckland's motorways are packed this afternoon as many school's finish up for the year.
Traffic is heavy following an earlier crash on the SH16 Westbound Link Rd to SH20.
The crash is clear of lanes but traffic remains in the area, NZTA said.
On the Southern Motorway traffic is very heavy from the city centre all the way through to Highbrook.
There are also patches of heavy congestion on the Northern motorway heading towards Albany and on Onewa Rd.
