Emergency services were once again at an empty house in Putaruru after two suspicious fires in 24 hours.
Fire and Emergency (FENZ) were called to the property on Galway Crescent at about 3.30am on Tuesday, where firefighters worked to extinguish a blaze on the exterior of the house.
A FENZ spokesperson said it was the second time crews had been at the unoccupied home in 24 hours, after attending a fire in the early hours of Monday morning.
There were no reports of injuries.
Fire investigators were expected at the property Tuesday morning and a police scene guard was in place.
