Two people are being taken to hospital with serious injuries after a truck and caravan crashed, closing a Waikato highway.
State highway 39 is expected to remain shut for some time, police say, after two vehicles collided at Otorohanga about 11.20am on Monday.
Drivers should avoid SH39 if possible and expect delays, police said.
