Police are searching for a person who stabbed a teen in Auckland's Takanini.
Emergency services were called about 12.20pm on Monday to reports someone had been stabbed at a Walters Road address.
A police spokesperson said one person was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Mission reports from the Auckland rescue helicopter said the victim was a male teen.
Police were asking anyone with information that could help their investigation to come forward.
"Investigations are underway to identify and locate the person responsible," they said.
