One occupant suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to hopsital, after a helicopter crash in Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to the scene of an aviation incident at Matatā about 3.15pm Sunday.
Two ambulances, two rapid response units, two helicopters and one manager attended the scene, where one was initially assessed with serious injuries and two others moderate.
They were later downgraded to moderate and two minor.
One was flown to Tauranga Hospital, while the other two were transported by road to Whakatāne Hospital.
Fire and Emergency said nobody was trapped during the incident.
